Mr. Center likes to work together with his clients so he can quickly answer their questions, and get his questions answered promptly as well. The first step is to call his office and make an appointment. During the meeting, if tax planning opportunities or tax compliance issue arise, they will be addressed immediately.
When working on larger, more complicated personal tax returns or trust and estate returns, Mr. Center will set up an initial meeting to first review the information. Then he will work on the return and research related tax issues, if that is necessary. A final meeting is held to review the completed return and explain relevant tax issues.
Fees are set after a brief, initial meeting to determine the complexity of your return. The minimum fee to prepare a personal income tax return is $350. Mr. Center bases his fee structure on the complexity of the return. If the personal return is more complex and includes rentals, unreimbursed business expenses, capital gains or self-employment activities, for example, then the fee is higher because these forms take more time to prepare. Larger, more complex personal or trust and estate tax returns and tax audit preparation and representation are based on an hourly rate.
